Free Tiger Transit shuttle
The easiest way in for many visitors. Park free at an off-campus lot and ride to the stadium.
- Hours: buses start running 4 hours before kickoff. For 11 a.m. games, that's 8 a.m.
- Buses run off and on during the game and for 2 hours after to get you back to your car.
- Main drop-off: War Eagle Way, just north of the Nichols Center. It's the orange BUS pin on the map.
- Track buses live in the ETA SPOT app (iPhone · Android).
- Expect delays in pre- and post-game traffic.

Tailgating rules
- Grass areas open for tailgating at 4 p.m. Friday before home games.
- You can't save a spot early. Stakes, rope, tape, chairs, tables, tents or vehicles put out before the opening time may be removed without notice.
- Hayfields (S Donahue Dr & Samford Ave) open 3 p.m. Friday and close 4 p.m. Sunday.
- The grass next to a reserved lot is for people holding a pass for that lot.
- No wheeled vehicles, trailers or large wheeled grills in grass tailgate areas.
- No tailgating in parking decks or around residence halls.
- Don't plug into university power or water. Using university utilities is against the law.
- Amplified sound (DJ, band, big speakers) needs a special permit requested at least 14 days ahead: 334-844-4619.
- Use the trash and recycling bins. Bags are handed out in tailgate areas and RV lots.
Grills, generators & tents
- Grills: not within 50 feet of a campus building, and not in no-grill areas, which include all parking decks. Keep all fires in a grill or approved container.
- Charcoal: put it out completely with water, then use the hot-coal containers or take it with you. Never dump it on the ground or in a dumpster.
- Generators: not within 50 feet of buildings, no-grill areas or decks. Keep them away from anything that burns, and never run them in the rain.
- Tents: you need a permit if your tent is over 399 sq ft, uses stakes 12 inches or longer, or if joined pop-ups add up to more than 399 sq ft without a 12-foot fire lane. Call 334-844-4619. A tent permit doesn't include parking.
RV parking
- RVs park in the Hayfields on S Donahue Dr and Samford Ave starting 3 p.m. Friday.
- RVs must be off campus by 4 p.m. Sunday.
- RVs aren't allowed anywhere else, including the core of campus.
- Carbon monoxide safety: vent engines and generators properly, leave space between vehicles, and use a CO detector if you can.
Accessible (ADA) parking
- Free accessible parking on gameday: VCOM Lot, 910 S Donahue Dr.
- Pre-purchased accessible parking: Gogue Center Lot (Woodfield Dr) and District Energy Lot (Wire Rd). Buy through Auburn's gameday parking store.
- You need a state-issued ADA hang tag or plate, and the person it was issued to must be in the vehicle.
Parking rules & towing
- No parking on roads, bike paths, sidewalks or grass medians, or inside areas closed off with bollards, posts, chains or fences.
- Cars blocking roads, sidewalks, fire lanes, hydrants, driveways or other cars will be towed at the owner's expense.
- Personal golf carts (not street-legal) and ATVs aren't allowed on campus. Street-legal low-speed vehicles need a university gameday pass and must park in their assigned lot.
- Bikes and scooters don't need a gameday permit.
Got towed?
- Towed cars go to the on-campus impound lot. Pay to get yours back at Parking Services, 330 Lem Morrison Dr.
- Office hours: Saturday 10 a.m. until 2 hours after the game, and Sunday noon–2 p.m.
- Call (334) 844-4143 during office hours, or (334) 740-2077 before the office opens.
- After 7 days, an extra $5 per day is added to the release fee.

Tips from locals
- Bring cash. Most yard and private lot owners take cash. Cell service gets spotty with 88,000 people in town, so Venmo can be slow.
- Arrive early. Close-in spots fill hours before kickoff, especially for night games and rivalry games.
- Plan your exit. Check the official postgame traffic map. Parking on the side of town you'll leave from can save an hour.
- Shuttle lots off I-85 (Softball Complex at Exit 51, TigerTown at Exit 58) let you skip in-town traffic both ways.
- If it isn't clearly a parking spot, it isn't one. Towing is strict on gameday.
